In-Christ Union Taught in Germany

By Mark Asante

Dear Christ-life Fellowship,

Christ-life Fellowship’s Germany Representative took the in-Christ message to the Intercultural Week of the Evangelical Church in Mainz, Germany, September 7-16. As keynote speaker of the conference, Mark Asante talked to about 200 participants from all over the world, including Germany, Ghana, Nigeria, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Spain, America, Romania, and Russia.

Mark focused on unity and union to complement the conference’s theme of accepting one another:

“I and a German pastor led the service. The Service was conducted bilingual language in English and in German. I took the English part. I talked on Ephesian 1:6, ‘To praise of the glory his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.’ I expounded on unity of Church, how we are to accept one another in Christ regardless of our race, cultural background, and traditions, because Christ has accepted us in Him without making [any] differences of where we come from. In Galatians 3:25-29, Paul told the Galatian believers that all believers are children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. ‘There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for we all one in Christ.’ Unity. I stressed, furthermore, on our union with the Christ who lives in us and who has become our very life. Without knowing our union with Christ, there can be no unity in the Church as the Father wants us to have. Union always spring from unity I emphasized. Ephesians 4:13.”
