In my walk with God, I have gone through at least seven different stages in understanding the plan of God. At each stage, I was certain that particular stage was my key to the Scriptures, and I interpreted the entire Word of God by that level of understanding. All I could see was this one thing was imperative to knowing God. But at last I have come to the final key, for I have come to a revelation of Christ who is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Now that I see Him as my only life, I realize that all my searching for God, and my going through each of the keys relative to my understanding at that particular time, was to bring me to the fullness of Christ. I now see Christ as all, and consequently I am free to become what the Father's ultimate intention for me was from the beginning.                        —Warren Litzman

The Key to The Scriptures
It is my belief that every believer who comes to the fullness of Christ can have three scriptural experiences which will bring him to that fullness. These three experiences may not be singular, or even separated from each other, especially if the believer has the true preaching of the gospel and the teaching of the Holy Spirit. These three experiences could be called the John 3:16 experience, the Acts 2:4 experience, and the Galatians 2:20 experience. The John 3:16 experience, of course, has to do with the birthing. It is impossible to go on in the Lord to fully become, as a believer, what God intended if there is no born-again experience. The birthing (John 3:5) is plainly stated as being the necessary experience if one is to know God and to enter into the things of God. We might very well declare the birthing to be the key to the Scriptures as far as the Christ-life is concerned. Every group of believers who form some part of Christianity have a key to the Scriptures of their own. For some it is water baptism; for others it is church membership and catechism; for others it is tongues and the gifts; while for others it is miracles and faith.
