You Are Invited…
Last November we all gathered at Pine Cove for the Weekend in the Word meeting. What a wonderful time it was. It had been over ten years since we had met there. Warren’s teaching was profound and the fellowship among us was truly delightful. My own family was able to have a reunion there and we enjoyed sharing Christ with old friends.
For those of you who were unable to attend, I encourage you to make plans for this coming November. For those of you who did come and are planning to return, please make your reservations as soon as possible.
We have this time allocated to Christ-life Fellowship and it’s a wonderful opportunity to be in Pine Cove again this fall. We will be back at the Azalea Lodge, the Cedars and the Dogwoods. There will be a minimum of two people per room. As we would like to keep everyone together at these sites this year. You can view the facilities at http://www.pinecove.com/summer-camps/woods; it’s the same place with the lake and the upstairs dining and downstairs meeting room with the fireplaces. Robbie has sent in a check for the $2100 deposit required of Christ-life Fellowship to hold our place. For those who would like to arrive a day early, the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel is quite nice and restful with a hot breakfast; they give a discount for those who mention they are staying at Pine Cove. Here are the details: $150 per adult (15 yrs. & older) for 2 nights and 6 meals. The dates are Friday evening, November 11th through Sunday after lunch, November 13th. Saturday afternoon is open. Warren will be speaking 4 times; a program of the schedule and theme will be sent to you along with the acknowledgement of your registration.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Send a deposit of $50 per adult to the Christ-life office right now. Contact the office as soon as possible (214-391-0488). The balance will be due in the CLF office by October 1st as Pine Cove requires full payment prior to the event. Please mail your check to the CLF office. Credit card charges have an additional $3.00 charge per transaction.
We look forward to being together again this November. Make your plans now and then you will make it happen. No one who came last year was sorry that they did. The kids all said, “Can’t we just stay one more day?” We all left filled and running over ― and not wanting to leave.
